One Step In The Right Direction

Do you ever wake up, and think today’s the day! Today I’m going to finally [insert whatever you’ve been meaning to do but been putting off for god knows how long]

Well guess what! We all have those days, and the only way to stop putting them off is to do them on the day you wake up and feel it.

I find that when I have those days, and I prioritise whatever I thought of to do – then actually do it, and miraculously the rest of my day somehow feels more accomplished, I become more motivated to do everything else I had planned and I am more likely to carry on in that mindset for the rest of the week.

If you wake up and think, today I will go to the gym, then prioritise going to the gym, if you wake up and think today I will not over indulge then do everything in your power that day to not over indulge. If you wake up and think, I will not allow stupid clients/customers to ruin my day then do everything in your power to turn any situation around that day.

Make it a priority, make it the most import thing you have to do that day, and to make that a habit all you need to know is…14!

14 is the magic number!!

For something to become a habit, and something natural in your day to day life you need to do it consecutively for 14 days! After those 14 days whatever you have chosen to do, will feel odd not to.

This works for everything, drinking 2L of water a day, going to the gym, taking 10 mins every day to clear your head, not eating that extra doughnut, what ever it is, it will work!

But you HAVE TO commit to the 14 days, it has to get etched into your brain as a norm, it need time to feel natural and not forced.

YES I KNOW!!! It is harder to do than to say but I promise you it works, and I promise you won’t regret it!

Put your health; mentally and physically, first and everything else will fall into place around it.
